Chapter 1: All I Want for Chrtistmas is You ♥

 

It happened about a week ago. They had another argument. Well, it wasn't exactly that kind of argument where you had no more choice. It was that argument where choices had to be made.


"What do you mean you can't come?!"


"It's just..."


"What?"


Another argument was made. They were used to it. The others were used to it. It comes natural, right? So when Daiki and Chinen were about to enter their dressing room, they heard those familiar voices inside, and decided that it wasn't the right time to enter yet. Ryutaro was going to buy Shintaro a snack in the canteen. When the two boys passed by that dressing room, they both walked faster than their normal paces awhile ago. Yup, it was natural. JUMP members not wanting to interrupt, or become a part of it. Juniors and senpais hurriedly walking past, as not to hear anymore. But when it came to Hikaru, he would stay by the door and listen attentively. Inoo passes by, sighs, and shoves Hikaru away, dragging him somewhere else. Some would want Yabu to stop them. Yabu just shrugs, looks back at the paper he was reading and say, "They'll work it out.".


"Well..."


"Just tell me!" Yuto urges.


"Otousan wants the whole family to be together this Christmas." Ryosuke explained finally.


"And..?"


"He's taking us to Okinawa this weekend."


"When will you be back?"


"I don't know yet. They just told me this yesterday. But maybe around the 29th?"


"Eh?!"


"Gomene, Yuto. I know we always spend Christmas, or the day before or after Christmas, together. But this time..."


Yuto sighed, plopped down on the couch. "I know. I know. You're spending it with your family."


"I'm really sorry," Ryosuke apologized once more, sitting down on the couch beside Yuto.


"Can't you stay?" Yuto asked, not really hopeful.


"I'm afraid not. Otousan and Okaasan are really excited about this. After all, my family doesn't get to spend that much time together anymore. You know our schedules. Then there's my parents' jobs' schedules. Oneechan has to do some extra schoolwork, even during the breaks, then she spends her extra time with her friends. Plus, my younger sister prefers to be with her friends, too."


"Doesn't that go the same way for you?" Yuto looked at Ryosuke, raising an eyebrow.


Ryosuke chuckled. "Un. So now we're going to pay up for all of that."


Yuto stifled a small laugh, then sighed. "I just wished we could spend even just the weekend before Christmas together."


Ryosuke leaned on Yuto's shoulder, and whispered, "I'm sorry."


"I get it," he said, smiling and wrapping his arms around the older boy. "But the party just wouldn't be the same without you."


"I wanted to go, you know."


"Un." Yuto gave another light chuckle, not wanting to move so much. "After all, all JUMP is going to be there."


"Most of the juniors and senpais, too," Ryosuke added.


"Now it wouldn't be as much fun since you aren't going," Yuto said sadly.


Ryosuke snuggled even closer to Yuto. "I wouldn't have that much fun, too, since you won't be with me."


"You'll be with your family, though. That's great, isn't it?"


"I know." Ryosuke paused before continuing, "But I love Yuto too much." Ryosuke closed his eyes as he reveled in Yuto's warmth. "I prefer being with him more than anyone else."


It was Saturday. They were at the airport now. Ryosuke had said goodbye to Yuto the day before, and again on the phone just awhile ago. They were already in the line, waiting for their turn to get their tickets stamped.


"Aren't you excited, sweetie?" Ryosuke's mom asked him.


Ryosuke forced a smile, and gave a small nod. "Un."


"As much as I want to go to Okinawa," his older sister began. "I think it'd be fun to stay at home and also be with my friends...and my boyfriend."


"Nani?!" Their father blurted. "Since when did you have a boyfriend?!"


"I thought you already knew," Ryosuke's older sister replied, looking at her nails.


"Yes, dear," their mom said, trying to calm their dad down. "She told us about it. I can't believe you forgot."


"Eh..? You know sometimes I don't pay any attention to what you're saying when I'm busy."


"She said it when we were having dinner."


"Err...Maybe I was too astonished with your cooking, honey."


"Urusai!" Ryosuke's younger sister said, pulling on their dad's sleeve. "We're next!"


As his dad was handing their tickets over, Ryosuke's heart pounded. He wasn't sure where he wanted to spend Christmas with. His family....or Yuto? Since arriving at the airport earlier, he never thought of anything else other than Yuto. He wanted to be with his family. But he wanted to be with Yuto, too. He couldn't think straight. He even bumped into some guy earlier.


Somehow he had to choose.


The passengers were going to their seats. Some were already fastening their steabelts. The stewardesses were helping out the other passengers, while one was instructing some things in the front. The airplane's engine started. The airplane was finally moving.


This was it.


His decision was final.


As the airplane soared high into the sky, Ryosuke watched through the huge glass windows of the airport.


He placed his hand on the cold surface of the glass window. Ryosuke sighed, noticing the mist that was forming on the glass window. He turned around, and leaned on the glass window, the coldness making its way past his coat.


He smiled.


"I shall return for you, my love, on Christmas Day." ♥

.okaaay...so the last line was really random. i've been listening to a lot of xmas songs for the past days. XD that's where i got that line. X3 is it that obvious..? anyway...xmas is fast approching ne..! i wanna open zeh gifts. XD jokes. XD i'm sorry if my fics are crappy. XD can't believe i wasn't that lazy today...i finished it..! X3 gyaaa~h..! i finally made a fic for my favorite pairing..! yamajima, ftw~! omj, i fail..!!! faaaa~il..!
