**Part 1: Fate...It can't be put into words...
He yawned. Chinen felt so tired already. Yabu noticed this and said, "Ne, let's call it a day, okay? Looks like someone needs to rest." Yabu's eyes pointed to Chinen.
Chinen laughed. "Gomene. I get tired easily nowadays. So I'm sorry about that."
"It's no problem, Chii," Yuto said with a smile. "We'll just visit you some other time, ne?"
"Just not tomorrow," Ryosuke added. "Sorry, we have rehearsals."
"And since you haven't been showing up in the agency, some assumed you already quit," Hikaru told Chinen carelessly. Chinen was smiling but his eyes grew sad, and he looked down. All eyes darted to Hikaru, giving him an irritated and annoyed expression. "Baka!" Inoo whacked him on the head.
"Chii," Keito started. "Don't worry. You'll get better soon."
"We'll wait for you, Chii!" Ryutaro said happily.
"You're always welcome, and we'll wait no matter how long, whatever it takes," Takaki chimed in, showing Chinen his sweetest smile.
"The juniors are all eagerly waiting for you to come back!" Taiga added.
"So are our senpais!" Shintaro said, putting an arm over Taiga's shoulder.
"Get well soon, Chii!" Casey said in pure English.
"I hope you'll feel better, ne? Rest well," Inoo finally said, cleaning up some of the mess they made.
"We'll go now! Sorry about awhile ago." Hikaru looked shameful.
"It's okay, Hikaru-kun. I know what you meant. My parents actually wanted me to quit with my condition but......" He trailed off, and the other members of JUMP, plus the juniors, looked at each other sadly.
"What am I saying?" Chinen started again, laughing. "I shouldn't be sad! After all, I'll be going back soon! Right, guys?" Chinen was so hopeful that the others couldn't bear to stand it anymore. They all looked at each other sadly.
"Well, Chii, I'll miss you, ne," Ryosuke told Chinen before running out of the room, tears stinging his eyes.
"Hai! See you soon!" Yuto tried to look as happy as he can in front of Chinen. After, he ran out and chased Ryosuke, knowing that he was crying his eyes out.
"Shintaro," Ryutaro called out to his brother. "Ikou, ne." He looked at Chinen with a small smile. "We'll go now. Ja ne.”
"Bye," Shintaro added before following his brother out of the room. When both the brothers were out of the room, they suddenly started to feel their eyes filling with tears.
"I'll be going home with them. Ja," Taiga said.
"Me, too!" Casey picked up his bag and started to follow Taiga out of the door. Slowly, the two boys met up with the Morimoto brothers outside of the hospital. They can't help it; the four of them started sobbing. After all, they're only kids.
Little by little, Yabu, Hikaru, Inoo, and Keito said their goodbyes and went on their way. They all had the same feeling. They all felt a huge weight being dropped on top of them. They felt like they needed to lie--lie to Chinen, and even lie to themselves.
Takaki was left with Chinen in the room. "Well, Yuuyan? Not to sound rude or anything, and of course I don't want you to go but, aren't you going yet?"
Takaki chuckled. Takaki approached Chinen and held his hand...tight. "Chii..." Takaki started. Chinen felt something weird. Takaki didn't usually talk to Chinen like this. Even when Takaki had a really huge problem, he would act really happy in front of Chinen until Chinen annoyed the living heck out of him so that he'd tell what was bugging him. This time, though, Takaki started serious.
"Don't lose hope, okay?" Chinen looked up at Takaki who was standing beside the bed. "Whatever happens," Takaki said once more. "Whatever you do, or whatever happens...please...don't lose hope..."
Surprised, Chinen tightened his grip on Takaki's hand. "Yu-Yuuyan..."
Suddenly, Takaki's lips curved into a smile as he said, "Please." He may be smiling, but his eyes were pleading. He was begging for Chinen not to lose hope. "Chii...Onegai..."
Chinen didn't understand that much, but just nodded. "Un."
Takaki's smile grew wider. "Arigato." Chinen smiled back, thinking to himself if he really wanted to understand what's happening. "Arigato, Chii."
After staying for some more minutes, Takaki asked Chinen to rest and eat well. He finally said his goodbye. "Ja ne, Chii. See you soon. Get well soon, too. We miss you already."
"I miss you guys, too. Take care, Yuuyan," Chinen replied as Takaki gave him one last smile before going out the door. Chinen let his head fall to the pillow, letting his mind wander and thinking about the things that just happened earler. Being a member of Johnny's & Assosciates really made him feel like he was loved--like he was a member of a family. The whole of Johnny's was his family--especially Hey! Say! JUMP.
Outside the room's door, there was Takaki--Takaki who was slowly sliding down on his back on the wall beside the door so Chinen couldn't see him breaking down. Takaki began to cry. He didn't know what else to do anymore...but cry. After regaining his composure back, he wiped away his tears and went home. That's when he thought about things, until he let his tears roll down his cheeks. He slept earlier than usual. He wanted to get out of reality as soon as possible.

Chinen Yuuri--diagnosed with a disease that can't be anymore cured with the level of condition. Chinen's illness had gotten all over his body and was slowly making it weak. Slowly, but inconspicuosly, the disease could take him...anytime. The chances of him getting better are three to a hundred. "I could always be one of those three, ne," he always thought positively.

Earlier that day, his mom texted him that she'll either come back late that night or early tomorrow morning due to work. Chinen was used to this. His mom was really hard-working, and this caused her to work overtime most of the time. Chinen was happy to know that his mom was doing this for their family. Chinen would spend the night alone in the hospital again, no one to talk to, or call on to for help except the doctors and nurses that come to check up on him once in a while. He sighed.
I remember when we kissed, I still feel it on my lips...
The time that you danced with me, with no music playing...
Daiki...Chinen thought. All throughout the day, he has thought about only one person, and that was Daiki. It's not like he didn't miss any of the other JUMP members and juniors, and of course, also his senpais. But he was hoping that maybe...Daiki would've came to see him.Daiki knew about Chinen's condition, and Daiki was the one who took it the hardest.
Chinen felt his lips tingle. He raised his hands to touch them. He remembered the times when Daiki would try to attempt to kiss Chinen on the cheeks. One time, Daiki accidentally kissed Chinen on the lips. That memory never left Chinen's mind. Under his fingers, he felt his lips curve into a smile.
Another memory that Chinen would never forget was everytime Daiki would suddenly run up to him and twirl him around. Daiki would hold his hands and dance him around the room, even without music. Sometimes Daiki would hum the tune of Ultra Music Power, or sometimes Yabu's My Everything. This would happen often, and Chinen would find it funny. Daiki always never fails to make Chinen happy.
I remember those simple things...
I remember 'til I cry...
But the one thing I wish I'd forget...
Then, Chinen's chest started to hurt. He felt his eyes welling up with tears, until the tears started rolling down his cheeks. He sees them, droplets of water staining the sheet on his bed. There's still one memory, though, he didn't want to remember. He didn't want to think about it, but it keeps on entering his head no matter how hard he tries for it to stop.
That memory was painful...Chinen never felt anything as painful. It was like being stabbed...again...and again...and again. It was like he was left laying there alone...and dying.
"Dai-chan!" Ryutaro approached Daiki who was sitting on the couch in their dressing room.
Daiki looked up to see the panting Ryutaro. "Nani?"
"I'm so sorry!" Ryutaro said worriedly.
"Eh..?" Daiki had no idea what Ryutaro was apologizing for.
"I mean about Chii's condition. I'm so sorry. I hope you're alright. And I hope he's alright."
Daiki was confused. "Huh? What about Chii's condition?"
"What? You don't know?"
Daiki shook his head.
'You didn't know about his terminal illness?"
"Eh?!" Daiki was shocked. "What terminal illness?!"
"Ano...I'm not sure," Ryutaro replied. "The news reached some of the juniors and seniors. Although I think everyone in JUMP knows."
"I don't," Daiki replied bitterly. He looked over Ryutaro's shoulder and saw Chinen standing in the doorway, a worried expression on his face.
"Dai-chan..." Chinen said in a whisper.
Ryutaro looked at both of them--from Chinen who had a face that was somewhat afraid, to Daiki that had a blank expression. "I need to go," he said, and he ran out of the room. Chinen moved aside the doorway so Ryutaro could pass.
"D-Dai-chan..." Chinen started once more, stammering. "Dai-chan...Gomenasai..."
Daiki's bangs were covering his eyes, eyes that were blank and lifeless. "How bad...is it?"
Chinen carefully entered the room, slowly closing the door behind him and locking it. The juniors and other members don't need to hear this conversation now. "It...It's...." Chinen looked down at his feet. He couldn't continue anymore. He couldn't bear to have this conversation again--especially with Daiki.
Daiki didn't look up. He just asked, "Nani?" His voice was hard. Daiki never uses that tone when he talks to Chinen. Chinen slowly approached Daiki some more.
Daiki stood up and pushed Chinen on the wall, but it wasn't hard. Chinen's back just landed on the wall with a very soft 'thud'. "Tell me," Daiki said.
"I...There's little hope that I can still be cured," Chinen finally said, answering Daiki's question.
Daiki suddenly stiffened. He looked down, and Chinen saw droplets of water falling on the floor. Chinen finally noticed that Daiki was crying, though his eyes were still covered. Daiki placed one of his hands on the wall, just beside Chinen's head.
"Why...." Daiki started. Chinen's eyes began to well up with tears as well. "Why...didn't you tell me..?" Chinen didn't answer; he just looked up at Daiki. "Am I...not important enough to you...for me to know..?"
"Iie!" Chinen suddenly burst out. "Iie, Dai-chan! You're wrong! I didn't want to tell you was because..." Chinen didn't continue until Daiki raised his head a bit. Chinen saw Daiki's tear-stained face, his eyes were a bit red from crying. Chinen felt the need to explain. "It was because, Dai-chan, I didn't want you to worry about me. I didn't want you to het hurt! I couldn't bring myself to tell you. Gomene."
Chinen suddenly wrapped his arms around Daiki. Daiki didn't hug back; he remained motionless. Chinen's embrace on Daiki grew tighter. "Dai-chan...Gomene...Gomenasai..." Chinen buried his head on Daiki's shirt, clinging onto Daiki's jacket, refusing to let go.
After staying like that for awhile, Daiki slowly moved out of Chinen's grasp. He quickly unlocked the door, opened it and went out He bumped into the other members of JUMP who were just outside the door. Everyone had worried and scared faces. Daiki noticed this and he ran. He bumped into some of the juniors but continued until he reached the bathroom. He locked himself in one of the cubicles and cried.
The rest of JUMP were giving each other worried glances. Yabu was the first to enter the room. He noticed Chinen breaking down just near the door. He was practically kneeling on the floor and crying his eyes out. Yabu walked closer to Chinen, knelt down and hugged him. "Chii," Yabu began. "Shinpai shinaide. Everything's going to be alright."
The other members of JUMP slowly went in and crowded around Chinen and Yabu. Hikaru, who was supposed to be the one who was never serious, patted Chinen's back softly. "Ne, Chii. It'll be alright."
"Un. Don't cry anymore," Yamada added, really concerned.
"Nakanaide kudasai," Yuto said, almost wanting to cry, himself.
"Hai," Inoo said, handing Chinen his handkerchief.
Takaki hugged Chinen tight, trying to calm the younger member down.
"Gomenasai..." Ryutaro apologized, looking down, ashamed.
Chinen turned to Ryutaro and hugged him tight. "Daijoubu. It's my fault." Chinen's tears, once again, began to fall from his eyes. "I should've told him earlier. I...shouldn't have kept it from him. Of all the people...it shouldn't have been him."
In the bathroom, Daiki had heard the door open, but he ignored it, thinking it was just some random junior. Well, he thought, unil a damiliar voice called out to him. "Dai-chan?"
Daiki didn't want to answer, but he did. "K-Keito?"
"Hai," said boy replied back. Keito leaned on the wall just beside the door of the cubicle Daiki was in. "You know," Keito started. "Chii had a reason for not telling you. I know he told you that awhile ago."
Daiki didn't want to hear it. More tears fell from his eyes, dropping onto the bathroom's white-tiled floor.
Keito continued, "Dai-chan, he didn't want to hurt you."
"But he should've told me," Daiki answered back. "It hurt more when I heard it from someone else. It hurt more when I knew I was the last to know about it."
Keito sighed. "Dai-chan..."
Keito kept Daiki company until Daiki decided to finally go out of the cubicle. Keito had that soothing and relaxed aura that Daiki always liked. When Daiki finally stepped out of the cubicle, he hugged Keito. It wasn't like Keito to hug someone back...but he did.
When they finally left the bathroom, the discovered that Chinen already went home earlier than expected. "He had to see the doctor," Yabu informed them.
"Then I'll just apologize tomorrow," Daiki told him.
Yabu looked at Inoo worriedly. Inoo answered for him. "Ano...He's not coming back to the agency for awhile. The hospital is confining him starting tomorrow, until who knows when."
Daiki looked down. "Well," Ryosuke started. "We could always go visit him, ne?"
"I can't even do that," Daiki stated. "It hurts me more to see him in that state." After saying the last word, Daiki walked away.
Yuto called out to him. "I'm sure it's still not that bad." But Daiki didn't bother to look back.
...is goodbye...
